English education major
Crista VandePol, a sophomore English education major from Sioux Falls, strives to live by her favorite verse in 1 Timothy 4:12, “Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”
Despite a busy schedule that includes a full class load, RA duties, a part-time job and leading a weekly Bible study, she makes it a priority to spend alone time with God every day.
“That time I spend with God helps me relax and focus on my priorities,” Crista says.
